It'd been three days. Three long, quiet, lonely days.

Green was sitting at the desk in his office in the back of his gym.
He'd just finished some paperwork and was now leaning back in his chair.

Although he should have felt relieved and been relaxing now that he had some time to himself, that was impossible right now.

"I haven't seen or heard from Red at all the past three days... What am I saying? He'll never leave that damned mountain..."

He sighed. He hadn't gone to Mount. Silver since he yelled at Red to come down the last time and was - for the first time, offered a bit of grim hope when Red said if Green could win in a pokemon battle against him, he would come down.

Alas, Green lost, as one might predict. But he and his pokemon did try hard, very hard, still; Red's pokemon were too much for his own team.

Green stood, he blinked once he noticed eevee was staring out the window.
He could only guess eevee missed pikachu and was worried about Red just as much as himself - well, maybe not just as much as himself.

"I'm sorry Eevee... I'm sure they're fine though." he said with complete doubt.
He wasn't so sure, especially since he usually was the one to take Red supplies.
Eevee looked back at her trainer with a look of concern, then looked back toward the window letting out a faint, sad 'vee'.

Green could tell his little fox pokemon was feeling as though it were her fault.
Truth is, though she tried hard, she thought she still showed mercy, after all; she fought pikachu first.

There was an uncomfortable silence between the two as Green pondered what to do now.
Since both he and eevee felt awful about the same thing, it only made sense to go up and see Red, even if normally Green's ego would not allow him to.

"Let's go see him..." he said in a strained voice.

...

It'd taken Green three hours to reach the peek of Mount. Silver, but that might be because he over packed supplies. As he walked through the harsh, cold blowing air that stung his lungs, he squinted his eyes to see through the snowy fog. There was no sign of Red anywhere, maybe that was a good thing, maybe he was inside his cave with Charizard at his side warming him with his flamed tail.

Shaking his head of the sweet thought, Green focused harder on his surroundings. He'd finally found a wall, now pressing his gloved hand against it as he walked, feeling for the cave entrance.

Eventually, his hand felt an opening. "About time!" he thought.
As he entered the cave, he couldn't believe his eyes; there was Red, sitting in front of a fire, his pikachu by his leg and sleeping, and beside him was...

"K-Kotone?!" Green practically screamed in utter confusion.

He rushed over to the duo, Red's eyes never averted the dancing flames in front of him, Kotone was the only one in the cave to turn any attention to Green.

"Hi Green!" she said cheery as ever.

At that moment, Green's teeth grit together, his heart was pounding now, the fear of being replaced now in his mind.

"How... what... how long have you been coming here?" there was a hint of anger in his voice.

"Oh.. uhm... yesterday! Then I told Red I'd come back with him some food today!" she smiled kindly at the brunette.

Still in shock, Green could feel his chest getting heavy, she was doing his job now? How could she possibly take his place?! Red was his! Wasn't he...? He'd thought only he came to see Red, but now with Kotone there... He wasn't so sure, and this made him feel not needed.

Oblivious to the anger and pain Green was feeling, Kotone opened the basket she'd brought and took out an already fixed plate of takoyaki, she held the delicious looking food in front of Red's face in order to gain his attention. However, she obtained no response, not a glint in his eye at the food, now a word, not a motion, not even a change of expression. This left both Kotone and Green confused, they gawked at Red, wondering if the frostbite finally clamped on to and defiled his brain.

There was an uncomfortable silence, Green opened his mouth to say something but was cut off by Kotone, "Red? What's wrong? Not feeling well?"

Again, no response. Kotone cutting Green off was the last straw for him, he was already angry at the sight of her being near Red, and then she made him look like a jerk by asking what's wrong first! Green turned around taking a few steps toward the exit, "Why..." a quiet slightly familiar voice said. Green knew it was Red, his hands shook, a sting of guilt paining him for some reason.

"Why what?" he asked in both curiosity and fear.

"...Why... did you stop coming...?" Red asked, still not looking away from the fire.

Swallowing hard, Green's mouth was an open gap, he wanted to say because he'd lost and felt like he lost Red for good, or that the pain of being so close to bringing him back and failing was too much to bare had he returned. He wanted to say those things, he just couldn't bring himself to. "I... I don't know..."

"..."

It was clear that was not the answer Red wanted to hear. Kotone stood, feeling it best to leave, or at least wait outside, she rushed passed Green apologizing.

Taking a slow deep breath, Green walked over and sat by Red. Now, Red was mute again.
Still wanting so much to say how he was feeling, Green's eyes began to burn and water, for some reason he couldn't just tell Red he loved him.

Hearing a quiet sniffle, Red's eyes widened as he looked over to see a sobbing Green.
Red stared in stupor, Green was crying? Why though? Wanting to understand better, Red tilted his head, his expression now changing to one of concern, "Green... why are you crying?"

Green quickly looked over, "H-huh? Who the hell's crying?!" he almost immediately looked away. Red turned himself more towards Green and cupped his face, making him face his red eyes that shined with the fire's light. Green stared in to Red's mysterious yet beautiful eyes, his heart began racing as fast a speeding Rapidash.

"I forgive you." was all Green heard before feeling a pair of warm lips press against his slightly chapped ones, his eyes widened in realization. Red was kissing him?! Feeling frantic, he wondered what to do but as if instinct took over, he began kissing back.

They stayed that way for a few minutes before finally breaking apart, Green's face a darker shade of red than Red's eyes.

"...I love you, Green." Red said, barely over a whisper.

"I-I love you too, Red." Green replied still red faced.
Yaoi warning, don't like, don't read.

First Originalshipping I've ever wrote, damn I love this pairing!

I know, I suck at writing and well... I had to keep it kinda... fluffy 'cause even though it's 1:15 a.m here, my mom's on her laptop behind me...
